With a 2.5 day practical course, LCC offered an immersive learning experience, working in multidisciplinary teams on live briefs, problem solving, co-designing and prototyping solutions. By the end of the course, we were able to apply a range service design tools to better engage with your customers and stakeholders, tackle business challenges, and innovate.
This course explored service design as a human centred problem solving process. It considered the importance of staff, users and everyone that has a relationship with a service.
After a successful year of hard work leading our new Connect Box interface design project, I earned a new title at Liberty Global. My responsibilities now include leading and managing external parties/agencies and make sure we deliver high quality, human centered User Interfaces. My first job as a web designer at PROFILE S.A., an international solutions provider for the Banking and Investment Management industry.
My role was to design interfaces for complex web based applications such as web banking or investor relation platforms. Furthermore I learned HTML, CSS, and was able to understand and configure basic java script, VB script and .Net in order to work and apply my designs on sight for security reasons. I was very enthusiastic and gained significant knowledge out of those projects. I also achieved promotions & rapid progression to a senior role due to consistently good results.
